    Description

    If you are looking to add some color to your kitchen decor,  this plate fits the bill perfectly. It's from the Black Forest area of Germany, and it has the verses of a rather well-known song, "Lied Der Schwaben," or
    "Song of the Swabians."  The translation is a bit off-color and crude, but it's sarcastic humor - and who can't laugh at themselves?
    The plate is 12" in diameter and comes ready-to-hang. The background color is an intensely bright yellow, and the fabulous graphics are similarly in-your-face red and green. It's loud but cute - certainly eye-catching. It has a nice shine to it, too.
    Not visible from the front are a couple of surface chips on the rim. There are ZERO cracks but liberal crazing front and back. The graphics and coloring serve as excellent visual distractors, tho. Depending on the lighting, the crazing fades away. Review all photos, as they are considered part of this description.
