    Description

    This is a March 8, 1862 Civil War Special Requisition #40 for one pair of boots and 2 pairs of shoes, ordered by John Moschell, Capt Company B of the 3rd NY Cavalry at Camp Bates.  The footwear was from Quartermaster Lt. James Chamberlain and approved by Simon Mix, Lt Col. Overall very good condition.   Look for the other Civil War paper we are listing to combine shipping.
